Theo Bos signs Cervelo

Now i think the guys a dick. Dont get me wrong, hes a quick cunt but i think hes a bitch for quitting the track to try and make a name on the road. Mind you f he can make it over the hills it would be an interesting site to see him lead out in a fight with lil cav. hopefully this means, cervelo will build a track sprint bike around Bos to replace the P3... its been a while since they have bought out a new trackbike. i wait in anticipation.

Fuji Track Elite

Fuji unveiled at the recent EuroBike this beauty which should become available in 2010. The Track Elite has been developed and thoroughly tested in a wind tunnel. The two priorities for the build were stiffness and aerodynamics, and by the looks of it they have acheived there goal. The bike is aimed at sprinters and should be available March 2010.

Adam builds sick bikes, theres no doubt about it. His attention to detail is Second to none. His french build below contains almost only french original parts. Check the cranks... Mavics.

His other current bikes include a New Zealand built sprint frame with Zipp 808s laced to campy sheriffs (THAT HE WONT LET ME ABUSE(understanbly)) and a Colnago Low Pro Pursuit frame, pictured with "ONLY" the campy discs. I say only bcos hes probably the only nigger in nz with a hot set of the old Russian discs. His bikes are sick but his box/shed/warehouse full of parts waiting to be graced with frames is amazing.

Not long now until the Six Day season starts off. Im still working on trying to get some DVD coverage of the events. hopefully by kick off(19th October) i will have something in the pipeline.

Track season is beckoning

Track season is now a month or two away. Training is going well, head is in a good space. 10kgs down from this time last year, and really begining to get some good quality focused training/smash sessions in on the erg/rollers/ and at the gym. Reading Sir Hoys website this morning and seeing his pics just gets me more amped for the season to begin.

The new Kalavinka track frame, apparently designed for the 2012 olympics.... its hot and looks quite stiff. I like the flat top tube, Its simliar to the DF3
The BB picture below actually shows the the eccentric bottom bracket. Im unsure why a top of the range frame like this would need an eccentric bb? especially with the size of the drop outs. im no designer and it looks gangsta.

The Lanky Drug Cheat Come Back.

Rassmussen is back and now riding for team Tecos from Mexico. his first race back was the Vuelta Puebla 2009. Rassmussen finished 1st on the second stage with a margin of 9 minutes. Clean and strong and possibly still a cheat, whos to say.

Tour done and dusted- Check

its over. unsuprisingly Contador won. unsuprisingly Lance Gaystrong didnt. Carlos did nothing. Fabian was the man. Jens Voigt hurt himself. Cadel looked stupider(if the chin wasnt enough). France did well for once. no one thrown out for doping... yet and cavendish won a tonne of stages expending possibly the amount of energy i do on a 4 hour ride but over 3 weeks. next year starts in Hollland, sounds shit to be honest.

Appears to be the same frame Contador has been using of late. Hidden cables, hidden brakes and new paint job courtesy of Marc Newson. The rear disc has been painted to look like it is pulsing when rotating. should be interesting none the less.
